چکیده

The papers [11], [13], [1], [15], [2], [8], [9], [16], [5], [12], [10], [4], [6], [7], and [14] provide the notation and terminology for this paper. In this paper x denotes a real number and Z denotes an open subset of R. One can prove the following propositions: (1) Suppose Z ⊆ dom((the function tan) ·(the function cot)). Then (i) (the function tan) ·(the function cot) is differentiable on Z, and (ii) for every x such that x ∈ Z holds ((the function tan) ·(the function cot))′ Z (x) = 1 (the function cos)((the function cot)(x))2 · − 1 (the function sin)(x)2 . (2) Suppose Z ⊆ dom((the function tan) ·(the function tan)). Then (i) (the function tan) ·(the function tan) is differentiable on Z, and (ii) for every x such that x ∈ Z holds ((the function tan) ·(the function tan))′ Z(x) = 1 (the function cos)((the function tan)(x))2 · 1 (the function cos)(x)2 . (3) Suppose Z ⊆ dom((the function cot) ·(the function cot)). Then (i) (the function cot) ·(the function cot) is differentiable on Z, and (ii) for every x such that x ∈ Z holds ((the function cot) ·(the function cot))′ Z (x) = 1 (the function sin)((the function cot)(x))2 · 1 (the function sin)(x)2 . (4) Suppose Z ⊆ dom((the function cot) ·(the function tan)). Then (i) (the function cot) ·(the function tan) is differentiable on Z, and

Several Integrability Formulas of Special Functions. Part II

In this article, we give several differentiation and integrability formulas of special and composite functions including the trigonometric function, the hyperbolic function and the polynomial function [3]. For simplicity, we adopt the following rules: r, x, a, b denote real numbers, n, m denote elements of N, A denotes a closed-interval subset of R, and Z denotes an open subset of R. One can pr...

Several Differentiation Formulas of Special Functions. Part III

The articles [13], [15], [16], [1], [4], [10], [11], [17], [5], [14], [12], [2], [6], [9], [7], [8], and [3] provide the terminology and notation for this paper. For simplicity, we follow the rules: x, r, a, b denote real numbers, n denotes a natural number, Z denotes an open subset of R, and f , f1, f2, f3 denote partial functions from R to R. One can prove the following propositions: (1) x2 Z...

Closed formulas for the price and sensitivities of European options under a double exponential jump diffusion model

We derive closed formulas for the prices of European options andtheir sensitivities when the underlying asset follows a double-exponentialjump diffusion model, as considered by S. Kou in 2002. This author hasderived the option price by making use of double series where each termrequires the computation of a sequence of special functions, such thatthe implementation remains difficult for a large...

Quadratic Transformations of the Sixth Painlevé Equation with Application to Algebraic Solutions

In 1991, one of the authors showed the existence of quadratic transformations between the Painlevé VI equations with local monodromy differences (1/2, a, b,±1/2) and (a, a, b, b). In the present paper we give concise forms of these transformations. They are related to the quadratic transformations obtained by Manin and RamaniGrammaticos-Tamizhmani via Okamoto transformations. To avoid cumbersom...
